TOM CLANCY'S H.A.W.X.

H.A.W.X. is set in 2014 above the skies of a world increasingly dependent on private military companies (PMCs) and elite mercenaries who have a relaxed view on the law. As these non-governmental organizations gain power, global conflict erupts with one powerful PMC attacking the United States.
The game is set in the same universe as Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter; as Captain Scott Mitchell, the Ghost leader, is featured in two of the missions.Plot elements are carried over from other Tom Clancy games such as the missile defense system found in Tom Clancy's EndWar.

PROTOTYPE

The game is set in New York City as a virus infects people and the military attempts to put an end to it. The protagonist of the story is named Alex Mercer, who has enemy-absorbing and shapeshifting powers. He can take memories, experiences, biomass and physical forms of the enemies through absorption. Alex can also shapeshift into more specialized forms for attack, defense or sensory enhancement. All of these together are intended to give players multiple ways to complete their objectives. Parallel to the game's storyline is the ability to play the game as a sandbox-style video game giving the player free roam of New York City.

QUANTUM OF SOLACE

The core gameplay in Quantum of Solace is a first-person shooter. Throughout the game, however, the view will switch to a third-person view to emphasize that the player is playing as James Bond. This third-person view is used with a cover system and quick time events, among other scenarios. An example is using quick time events to chase Mollaka (the bombmaker) during a level that is a recreation of the construction site chase at the beginning of the Casino Royale film.

CALL OF JUAREZ BOUND IN BLOOD

Two brothers, Ray and Thomas McCall are fighting in the Civil War as Confederate soldiers. You first begin as Ray holding the line against Union soldiers when he hears that the area his brother is stationed at is under attack. He then rushes to save his brother, but after they defeat the enemy they are asked to retreat to Atlanta. They refuse because the line they are holding now is the last line of defense that protects their family's home. They desert to save their mother and younger brother William from the Union troops attacking their home. When they finally make it to their home and save them they realize their mother was killed, so they flee the country for Mexico hoping to one day return to their family home and rebuild it. Ray has learned of a mythical Lost Treasure of Cortez in Mexico so he urges his brothers to follow him as they search for it so they may use the money to rebuild their home. Soon they learn that they are not the only ones looking for the Lost Treasure.

TOMB RAIDER UNDERWORLD

Differences from previous iterations in the series are that Lara's environment will be an "interactive world that reacts and remembers", such that footprints left in the mud or mud transferred to Lara's knee from kneeling on the ground will be washed away by rain, the bodies of the foes she encounters will remain where she killed them, and any destruction to the environment she causes will be permanent. The game uses an animation blending system that allows Lara to interact dynamically with her environment, such as pushing foliage aside with one or two hands, depending on if she is carrying a weapon. It also features a "hybrid lighting model that combines dynamic lights with carefully created light maps" and a weather system that changes the environment, for example, "If Lara’s negotiating a wet ledge she’s more apt to slip or lose grip," which makes "the environment ... her adversary" for a large part of the game.

DAMNATION

 

Damnation features large, open environments, a variety of acrobatics and Hollywood-action stunts. Damnation features verticality which differentiates it from other games in the genre. It features many Steampunk elements such as steam power replacing electricity. The game features an option to turn the gore on and off. Damnation has steam-powered vehicles which also have many acrobatic abilities, such as climbing up walls.

CALL OF DUTY WORLD AT WAR

The story focuses on the final battles of World War II in the Pacific and Eastern Europe involving the United States, the Empire of Japan, the Soviet Union, and Nazi Germany. It is told from the perspectives of a Marine Raider and a Red Army soldier, and is based on several historical battles, including the Makin Island raid, the Battle of Peleliu, and the Battle of Berlin. The multiplayer portion of the game contains various game modes, and contains a leveling system that allows the player to unlock additional weapons and rewards as they progress, which was originally implemented in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. A new feature to the Call of Duty series is the co-op mode, which can support up to four players online and two offline.
